The new versions Sony’s FES WATCH U called the E Ink Watch is now on sale in Japan. The watch can be obtained at any fashion boutiques in Tokyo Japan, or Sony’s First Flight crowd funding site.

The new versions of Sony’s FES WATCH U called the E Ink watch can display a collection of brand designs and faces at the touch of a button. Although this is not a smart watch, the FES WATCH U produce some functionality compared to its original model. By connecting to an app called FES Closet, one can change the design of the watch. Sony announced that in every 3 months for the rest of the year, it will be delivering new designs from high-profile designers.

The FES WATCH U is accessible through Sony’s First Flight crowd funding site, along with several fashion boutiques in Tokyo, Japan. The regular steel finish Model cost $419 while the premium black models goes for $547. The two models in particular are more expensive than its original model that cost $271, and it’s not likely for any model of the FES WATCH U to have an official release outside Japan.
